Shop Small - On Budget Gift Guide

Finally, it’s the Holidays. We need a little extra sparkle and cheer, especially this year. Shopping small is more important than ever so I’ve gathered up a few of my favorite small brands that I see nearly weekly at the artisan markets or farmers markets right here in Charleston.

If you’re looking for hand crafted and something special that is *actually* affordable, I’ve got you covered. Let’s kick off this holiday shopping season with a little less stress and a lot more spirit.

For the Home

Bring a bit more cozy and charm to your home with candles and fun art plus these are always super giftable.

Oyster Candle Company upcycles oysters from restaurants to create coastal and cozy candles. Plus Shannon’s dough bowls are perfect for any home. Starting at $8

Illuminate Artisan has the most adorable prints that are perfect for a kids room, the bare wall, or any animal lover. Starting at $25

And check out Makenzie Kurz Art for those surfer vibe prints. Starting at $30

Give a Little Bling

Adding a little bling never hurts and everyone loves a statement piece that turns heads. These two ladies are my favorite Charleston Jewelry makers. You’ll love them too.

Mini, The Tiny Tassel handcrafts the most adorable tassel earrings, bracelets, even has a little party shop. You can’t go wrong with her Signature Tassels Earrings, only $18.

Margerite and Motte’s collection of gorgeous necklaces, bracelets, and earrings are created from oyster shells that wash up on the beaches of Charleston.  These oyster studs are sure to wow. Items starting at $25

Bath and Beauty Vibes

Who doesn’t like a spa day? Treat your friends, family, or even yourself to a massage, facial, or a full on spa day if your budget allows is a total luxe move but supporting independent massage therapists and estheticians is crucial right now.  Ask if they have specials or 2 for 1 services to get more relax for your cash.

You can always create a little gift basket of some lip balms, soaps, body scrubs. These make the best teacher gifts. Here are my two favorite soap makers Vibey Soap and Gritty Goat Soap. Starting at $7.00

If you like to support Me Time Botancials, our skincare rituals, gift sets, body polishes create the perfect at home spa for a relaxing night in and the lip sets make great stocking stuffers. Keep your eyes peeled for the exclusive shopping experience coming 11/13.

All the Snacks

You can never go wrong with snacks! The crunchy salty snacker and those chocolate lovers on your list will be so lucky to receive these yummy treats.

Nanna’s Nuts has the BEST pecan brittle I’ve ever tasted and you can’t go wrong with her variety of delicious spiced nuts. Starting at $5

Cocoa Academic, my favorite chocolatier, has bundles that are perfect for gifting, snacking, and stuffing those stockings. Plus they donate meals for every chocolate bar sold. 10 bars for only $24.

Let's hear it for the Boys

We didn't forget about the men in your life, I mean they'll love those snacks but if your looking for a bit more. I've got a few things up my sleeve.

Charleston Spice Co has amazing spices for the camper, griller, and hunter.  Pair it with a Custom Coozie and you're done.

and Mission Essentials has a great shave kit with a shave soap.

For your Furry Friends

Don’t forget your furry friends on your list. They’ll be looking so cute and feeling very loved with these special treats.

Pink House Pups, has a variety of bandanas to give your pup a super cute look. Colleen even creates face masks too if you need a few stylish ones.  Starting at $14

Pet Wants is a local Charleston pet food and treat shop with small batch food and treats your furry friend will love. George, my pup loves the Freeze Dried Salmon treats.

I'm carving out time just for you to shop the exclusive holiday bundles and top sellers first. Keep your eyes peeled for Friday, November 13 (yep it's Friday the 13th) for a week of EXCLUSIVE savings.  Can't wait, window shop to pick our your favorites here.

I hope this holiday seasons brings a bit of sparkle this year because hello 2020! Treating your family and friends, heck even get a little something for you means something a little different this year. Whether you shop this On Budget Gift Guide or you find other goodies to give, supporting local and shopping small gives us makers a little extra cheer.
