Why natural skincare

Why natural skincare

Have you noticed that Me Time Botanicals only uses all-natural, plant-based ingredients in every single one of our products? You may be wondering why..I have some answers! The skin is the largest organ in our body and toxins can be absorbed into our blood stream and lymphatic system. I don't know about you but I don't want synthetic chemicals on my skin or seeping into my blood stream disrupting my hormones.

Why natural ingredients?

Most skin and body care products on the market contain fillers like water, cancer causing synthetics, artificial dyes & colors, parabens..the list goes on. But not us, instead of using man-made chemicals, we fill up your cup with skin nourishing oils and minerals full of natural plant-based oleic and linoleic (Vitamin F) fatty acids, zinc, magnesium, antioxidant, and vitamins A, B, D, E, & K. Sounds like I am reciting the alphabet here. In all seriousness, we love using vitamin-rich oils like rosehip, avocado, grapeseed, watermelon, and blueberry for their antioxidant benefits. I love formulating with licorice, shiitake mushroom, coffee, rosemary, rosehips, & ginger, to soothe, stimulate, and boost the skin's natural glow. Ooooh yes, those intoxicating aromas and sweet smells are an added bonus just for you!

So, let's take a moment, grab some of your skin + body care products in your bathroom. Hopefully, you have some Me Time Botanicals, if not, I might know where you can get some! Don't worry we will wait.... Now, let's read that label, shall we. If you can't pronounce everything on the label or you see mineral oil, fragrance, or the first ingredient is water, you should think about what you are paying for and why in the world you are putting on your skin. Mic drop!
Try our 100% natural skincare rituals to keep your body and skin healthy.
XO,
Kara
